Children Empowerment in C.S. Lewis’ novel “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”

This research is aimed to describe Lucy’s thoughts, feelings, and actions in C.S. Lewis’s novel The Lion, the Witch, Wardrobe. problem formulated will be answered based on actions, feelings then it. main source for this was considered children’s literature. focus data were events which showed actions. analyzed by using qualitative content analysis. instrument researcher himself. There are four criteria: credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability, used order make trustworthiness. findings revealed that Lucy reflected her thoughts through knowledge ideas, understanding others’ feelings; empathy unselfishness; bravery doing a favor others. Therefore, contains empowerment, can categorized as good novel. Furthermore, children's empowerment an important aspect stories it has great influence enrich intelligence emotion their growing period.
